Synopsis

Continues the story of Massugu ni Ikou.

A talking dog represents the kind of beautiful tale one might have dreamed of in childhood, and for those who have forgotten it, this story serves as a reminder of that fable. It follows a canine capable of speech, yet his voice remains inaudible to ordinary humans. The protagonist, Mametaro, is an adventurous crossbreed dog who deeply loves his owner, Iku-chan, and his girlfriend, Hanako-chan, though he absolutely cannot stand Iku-chan's friend, Akiyoshi. Narrated from Mametaro's point of view, the story unfolds as the warm days of spring finally arrive. While the school and riverbank appear as just an ordinary neighborhood to people, they transform into a mysterious world extending infinitely for little Mametaro and his friends.
