Hidari Pilot Film

Synopsis

Stories have been told of a legendary craftsman from the Edo period, known as Jingoro Hidari. Today, sculptures attributed to Jingoro can be found across Japan, yet his actual existence remains unconfirmed. After losing his foster parent and his right arm due to betrayal by his senior apprentices, Jingoro embarks on a journey of revenge, equipped with a mechanical prosthetic arm and accompanied by his sidekick, "Sleeping Cat." People soon began calling him Jingoro "Hidari" because of his skillful use of carpentry tools with only his left arm ("hidari" means "left" in Japanese). At last, Jingoro confronts one of his enemies, "Inumaru," and the curtain rises on a battle to the death. Note: Public release on 8th March 2023.
