Synopsis
A skilled sculptor and carpenter named Jingoro loses his right arm and his father in a staged "accident" during the reconstruction of Edo Castle, orchestrated by his own disciples. Several decades later, Jingoro continues his quest for vengeance alongside his partner “Sleeping Cat” and his weaponized prosthetic arm. People have given him the moniker Jingoro "Hidari," meaning "left" in Japanese. Jingoro defeats all the former followers who betrayed him, but discovers that the Tokugawa Shogunate was behind the deadly event. He searches for clues about who engineered the entire setup, fighting through an army of mechanical soldiers along the way. At last he faces the true mastermind behind the murders, but first must rescue the city of Edo by halting the Edo Castle—now transformed into a colossal weapon of mass destruction.
