Shoukoku no Altair
将国のアルタイル
Synopsis
Mahmut Tuğrul holds the position of the youngest Pasha within the Türkiye Stratocracy, a role among the nation's governing council referred to as the Divan. Still carrying the trauma of losing his mother and his village in a war twelve years earlier, he commits himself to safeguarding his country and stopping further conflicts from breaking out. Renewed friction develops between Türkiye and the expansive Balt-Rhein Empire, as the fragile peace connecting the two countries comes under pressure from political instability and clashes along their borders. As this situation worsens, questions emerge regarding Mahmut's ability to lead, stemming from his idealistic perspective and lack of experience, which leads to him being stripped of his rank. Even after this setback, fresh allies come forward to back Mahmut in his struggle against the Empire. Confronted by the approaching threat of war, he must navigate complex political schemes and perilous battles with skill, working to maintain the peace he values and prove his worth as a capable commander.
