Synopsis

In a near-future New York, Hideyoshi is a homeless boy who survives by hustling other children in street basketball games. His life takes a turn when he is drafted by a professional team with a singular, ambitious mission. In the past, humans ruled the court, but the landscape has shifted as physically superior alien athletes have seized control of the sport, leaving almost no room for human players. Hideyoshi's squad, standing as the first all-human team to enter the Space League, is determined to overturn this dominance and reclaim the championship for Earth.

In this installment

In the second season, after joining Earth Team—a basketball squad made up entirely of humans—Hideyoshi, a former street punk who is now a professional player, becomes overly confident. The team keeps competing against the Gorons, an alien species that has dominated the sport for ages due to their physical advantages. Fresh challenges and setbacks emerge in their path. Hideyoshi grows frustrated with his teammates, while the Gorons devise new strategies of their own.
