Convenience Store Boy Friends

Synopsis

During their first year of high school, Haruki Mishima and Towa Honda juggle academic demands and club activities while grappling with their developing romantic feelings. A strong friendship grows between them as they each confront their own emotional struggles. Haruki harbors a long-standing crush on Miharu Mashiki, rekindled after an unexpected encounter at a convenience store. Meanwhile, Towa is fixated on his class president, Mami Mihashi, but his persistent attempts are met with indifference. While Haruki takes a subtle approach to win Miharu's heart, Towa pursues Mami with unyielding enthusiasm. Despite their contrasting methods, neither succeeds in love. It remains unclear whether their romantic endeavors will ever come to fruition.

Background

Konbini Kareshi is a mixed media project developed by Kadokawa's B's LOG magazine in collaboration with Japanese convenience store chain Lawson. The series was released on Blu-ray and DVD by Funimation Entertainment on August 28, 2018.
