Sound of the Sky

Synopsis

In the peaceful town of Seize, located on the edge of Helvetia, daily existence flows quietly along cobblestone streets, mostly untouched by the rising conflict between Helvetia and the neighboring Roman Empire. Into this setting comes Kanata Sorami, a lively young woman who enlists in the Helvetian army's 1121st platoon, stationed at the Clocktower Fortress in Seize, because of her love for playing the bugle. With mentorship from Sergeant Major Rio Kazumiya, a talented trumpeter, she begins her musical training. The platoon also includes Noël Kannagi, a reserved engineer; Kureha Suminoya, an enthusiastic artillery operator; and Captain Felicia Heideman, known for her kind nature. Through their time together, they discover the beauty of life in Seize and the lasting joy found in a community that continues to thrive even as the world around them deteriorates.
