In the bustling city of Orario, adventurers routinely venture into the perilous Dungeon filled with monsters. Bell Cranel, a timid but brave member of the Hestia Familia, stands out among them. Guided by his demihuman companion Liliruca Arde and the talented blacksmith Welf Crozzo, Bell gains the moniker Little Rookie and swiftly rises as Orario's most renowned adventurer, braving the Dungeon's hazardous depths. "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? II" continues Bell's journey to bring glory to his goddess and protect his loved ones. As tales of his feats circulate, various familias and gods across Orario begin to take notice, seeking to pull him into their own schemes.
In this installment
In the city of Orario, Bell Cranel, leader of the Hestia Familia, comes across a Vouivre, a beast notorious for its lethal nature. However, following a skirmish with adventurers, the creature displays no aggression, instead fleeing in terror and weeping. Upon discovering that the monster is actually a frightened young girl, Bell instinctively decides to hide her, unaware that this compassionate choice will ignite massive turmoil across the entire city.
Background
The series adapts the volumes 9-11 of the light novel of Fujino Omori's series of the same title. Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka III was initially planned to broadcast in July 2020, but was delayed to October 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The series was released on Blu-ray and DVD in four volumes from December 23, 2020 to March 26, 2021.
