Synopsis
Continues the story of Kiddy Grade
In a distant future where humanity has spread across countless planets, the Galactic Organization of Trade and Tariffs (GOTT) is established to maintain peace. This organization employs a secret team of enhanced humans known as the ES Unit to handle major intergalactic crimes. Among this unit are Éclair and Lumière, who hold the lowest rank of C. Despite their low standing, they possess extraordinary abilities; Éclair has immense strength and a lipstick whip, while Lumière can infiltrate any computer system. The duo carries out every mission assigned to them by GOTT. As they advance through their tasks, they uncover a vast conspiracy that challenges their understanding of themselves and the galaxy.
In this installment
Twenty-five years after Éclair and Lumière saved the galaxy from imminent destruction in the original Kiddy Grade series, the GTO (Galactic Trade Organization)—established following the downfall of the GOTT (Galactic Organization of Trade and Tariffs)—operates to maintain universal peace by fighting criminal activity. Their specialized ES division, modeled after the GOTT's ES (Encounter of Shadow-work) force, now includes publicly recognized ES member candidates. The story centers on two such trainees, Ascoeur and Q-feuille, as they strive to achieve ES membership.
