Synopsis

Continues the story of Sound! Euphonium 2

In the sequel to "Sound! Euphonium," Kitauji High School's concert band advances to the Kansai regional competition after succeeding in the qualifying round. Over the summer, they attend a camp where their advisor, Noboru Taki, and other professional musician friends provide guidance. The band members, including Kumiko Oumae, strive for a gold medal in the upcoming Kansai contest. However, their progress is complicated when a former band member expresses interest in returning, stirring up painful memories for the second-year students. Meanwhile, Kumiko learns intriguing details about Taki-sensei's past and his strong drive for the band's success. As the band aims for national recognition, each student's commitment to the ensemble will face considerable tests.

The new school year starts at Kitauji High School, and the concert band welcomes a fresh group of first-year students after the third-year seniors have graduated. Aiming for the national competition, the band throws itself into intense practice sessions. Second-year student Kumiko Oumae and her friends must navigate the diverse newcomers, whose lively personalities bring both excitement and tension to the group.
