Synopsis
In "The Dinner Table Detective," Reiko Houshou, heir to a large corporate empire, maintains the facade of a typical affluent young lady while secretly serving as a fledgling detective at the Kunitachi Police Department. She conceals this dual life from her inept superior, Kyouichirou Kazamatsuri, who is also a flamboyant inheritor of his family's automotive business. As Reiko delves into a mystery that involves her college acquaintances, she grapples with uncovering the perpetrator and their reasoning. Suddenly, Kageyama, introduced as her newly appointed butler, enters her life. Upon Reiko confiding her investigative dilemmas, Kageyama criticizes her lack of deduction skills but then assists her in cracking the case. With Kageyama's biting wit and support, Reiko is poised to realize her potential as a detective.
