Synopsis
In "Komi Can't Communicate," Hitohito Tadano hopes to remain invisible throughout high school, but his strategy crumbles when he is seated beside Shouko Komi, the school's most celebrated student. This arrangement sparks jealousy among classmates eager to claim that coveted spot. Although Komi enjoys a perfect reputation and immense popularity, she suffers from severe social anxiety and a communication disorder that leaves her isolated. During a quiet classroom moment, Komi struggles to write a message to Tadano on the blackboard. Observing her difficulty, Tadano steps in and discovers her ambition to make 100 friends. By offering his assistance, Tadano becomes her first genuine friend.
