Synopsis
Continues the story of Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle
After a fierce battle that resulted in significant losses, humanity managed to eliminate one of the Godzilla creatures that had driven them away from Earth twenty thousand years ago. However, another Godzilla still lurks on the planet, undefeated. Haruo Sakaki, badly wounded, awakens in the home of a young Houtua girl. The Houtua, a human-like race, adapted to survive in Earth's harsh new environment long after humans abandoned the planet. With resources scarce, Sakaki's surviving special forces team must decide whether to give up their mission and flee their homeland or continue what seems like a hopeless fight. A ray of hope shines when the Bilusaludo aliens discover pieces of their anti-Godzilla weapon, Mechagodzilla. Despite this potential technological edge, victory remains uncertain, as Godzilla has evolved over time, enhancing its power to maintain supremacy.
In this installment
In the aftermath of the Bilusaludo's nanometal city's destruction, humanity stands on the brink of extinction. Captain Haruo Sakaki is castigated by the remaining Bilusaludo for clinging to his human nature, which they blame for their defeats. Amidst this crisis, humans take shelter under the Exifs' belief that unwavering faith is the sole path to salvation from Godzilla's fury. However, the Exifs harbor a sinister secret. As the survivors become more zealous, Haruo begins to doubt what the priest Metphies is concealing, especially regarding the entity Ghidorah.
