Two decades after monstrous beasts began freely roaming a devastated Earth, the remnants of humanity drift through space aboard the ship that carried them from their ruined home. With supplies running low, the ship's leadership must choose between continuing the search for a new habitable world or pursuing a plan outlined in an anonymous essay that claims to reveal Godzilla's single weakness—the monster that forced humanity into exile. The essay was written by Haruo Sakaki, whose deep hatred for Godzilla was born from witnessing his parents' death as a child. He now leads the mission to reclaim Earth and eliminate the apex predator. But Earth has transformed drastically in their absence, and the internal strife among the human survivors may prove more dangerous than Godzilla and its offspring.

In this installment

After a fierce battle that resulted in significant losses, humanity managed to eliminate one of the Godzilla creatures that had driven them away from Earth twenty thousand years ago. However, another Godzilla still lurks on the planet, undefeated. Haruo Sakaki, badly wounded, awakens in the home of a young Houtua girl. The Houtua, a human-like race, adapted to survive in Earth's harsh new environment long after humans abandoned the planet. With resources scarce, Sakaki's surviving special forces team must decide whether to give up their mission and flee their homeland or continue what seems like a hopeless fight. A ray of hope shines when the Bilusaludo aliens discover pieces of their anti-Godzilla weapon, Mechagodzilla. Despite this potential technological edge, victory remains uncertain, as Godzilla has evolved over time, enhancing its power to maintain supremacy.
