Synopsis

Yuu Otosaka seems like an ordinary high schooler, yet he secretly wields a unique power: the ability to hijack another person's mind and body for precisely five seconds. He exploits this gift to cheat his way into an elite institution, keeping his grades up through deception. His plan crumbles when Nao Tomori, the determined student council president at Hoshinoumi Academy, uncovers his ruse. She forces Yuu to transfer to Hoshinoumi and join the student council. Few realize that Hoshinoumi Academy is actually a hidden sanctuary for teenagers with supernatural abilities, where the council's duty is to monitor and prevent the abuse of such powers. Although Yuu initially resists, he eventually aids the council in finding and safeguarding other gifted youths.
