Synopsis

At the prestigious Hyakkaou Private Academy, the curriculum extends far beyond standard academics to prepare students for real-world challenges. The student body consists largely of heirs to some of the wealthiest families on the globe, and the school operates under a unique dual system. During the day, pupils study history, languages, and other subjects, but once night falls, the campus transforms into a gambling arena where students hone their skills in finance and manipulation. Success in these high-stakes games dictates one's social standing, with the most accomplished gamblers rising to the highest ranks. Into this environment steps Yumeko Jabami, a newly transferred student. While she appears charming and innocent on the surface, she is deeply fascinated by the academy's special nighttime activities. Unlike her classmates who gamble solely for victory, Yumeko is driven by the sheer thrill of the game itself. Her unconventional and high-risk gambling style possesses the potential to completely upend the school's existing power structure.
