Continues the story of Android Kikaider - The Animation
The brilliant robotics scientist Dr. Komyoji built Jiro, a humanoid robot capable of transforming into Kikaider, who was given the assignment of protecting Dr. Komyoji's children, Masaru and Mitsuko. Equipped with a conscience circuit that enables the simulation of genuine emotions and aids in discerning good from evil, Jiro must defend Mitsuko and Masaru against the wicked Dr. Gil, who seeks to recruit Jiro into his army for the purpose of conquering the world. This series presents a more somber take on the original live-action tokusatsu show Jinzou Ningen Kikaida, introducing or deepening numerous emotional struggles within Kikaida and among other characters that were absent from the original Kikaida narrative.
In this installment
Ever since the fall of the DARK organization, Jiro has been wandering aimlessly, uncertain if he will ever reunite with Mitsuko. On his journey, he encounters a beautiful girl named Rieko, who is protecting a young boy named Akira from the malevolent Professor Gill. Ironically, Akira is the son of Professor Gill, yet he also holds the key to Gill's menacing secret weapon and his scheme for global conquest.
