Synopsis

Continues the story of Jewelpet

A flurry of shooting stars illuminates the sky, prompting Rinko Kougyoku and her friend Minami to make wishes. These celestial objects are actually Jewel Charms from Jewel Land, a magical realm. The charms are created by three magicians and contain native Jewelpets, who typically accept being transformed into charms for easier travel. One exception is a playful bunny named Ruby, who becomes too anxious in charm form and plans her escape. The magicians, aiming to transport the Jewelpets, entrust a pelican with delivering them to the Dream Forest. A sudden gust of wind disorients the bird, causing it to lose its cargo. All the charms except Ruby's land in Rinko's city on Earth. As punishment for her poor behavior, Ruby is tasked with retrieving the scattered charms. Ruby arrives on Earth as a red Jewel Charm, landing in Rinko's water glass and setting the stage for an extraordinary journey. Together, Rinko, Minami, and Ruby embark on a quest to find and collect all the charms, encountering unusual creatures and gaining valuable allies. Can they successfully return the Jewelpets to their home, or will Earth prove more perilous than expected?

In Jewel Land, Jewelpets—creatures with the innate ability to use magic—lived alongside Witches, attending the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn how to harness magic through their Jewel Eyes. However, Ruby, a white Japanese hare whose magic sometimes fails, is chosen to go to the Human World to find her partner. But when she uses the card given by the magicians, she ends up in the Human World by accident. There, a girl named Akari Sakura meets her on the beach while on her way to school. At first, Akari cannot understand Ruby because she speaks the Jewel Land Language, until Ruby takes a special candy that allows her to speak and understand human language. As the day goes on, Ruby learns about Akari's problems and later apologizes. A Jewel Charm appears on Akari's hand, and she realizes that Ruby has chosen her as a partner. After that, she decides to enter the Jewel Star Grand Prix, where the prize is that any wish they desire will be granted. Will she become the next Jewel Star and have her wish granted in the end? Or will it all end in one big disaster...
