The moment has finally arrived—the grand concert! Kasumi Toyama, the girl who once followed the trail of golden stars and answered the call of the Star Beat, now stands on the verge of stardom together with her bandmates Saya, Tae, Rimi, and Arisa as they prepare for a massive outdoor live show! It's an enormous venue to fill, but fortunately Poppin'Party won't be the only act taking the stage at this spectacular musical event. It's a nonstop surge of J-Pop fun as Afterglow, Pastel Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World! join the ladies of Poppin'Party on stage, and while they remain rivals vying for the spotlight, the real victors are the lucky members of the crowd!

"The ultimate concert returns! BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage is the second animated live concert film in the BanG Dream! series, following BanG Dream! FILM LIVE. The project was revealed on March 16, 2020, and had its Japanese theatrical debut on August 20, 2021. A special preview screening took place in five select theaters nationwide on August 10, 2021. The film was released in the United States and Canada via Eventive on September 18, 2021. Note: The movie includes three distinct post-credits scenes, which originally rotated weekly during theater screenings. On Crunchyroll, these alternative endings are available as separate streams.
