Synopsis
Continues the story of BanG Dream! 2nd Season
In the second season of BanG Dream!, Kasumi Toyama and her fellow Poppin'Party members have moved into their second year of high school. The new term brings new challenges including student council duties, cram school preparations, and part-time jobs, along with the fact that they are now in separate homerooms, which limits the time they can spend together. Looking back on their earlier carefree days, it feels like a distant memory, especially since they can barely find time to practice in Arisa Ichigaya's basement. Amid these issues, a mysterious girl suddenly appears, bringing the band back into the spotlight. With the rising popularity of girl bands, other groups such as Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World! begin to emerge. These bands, each made up of members with unique personalities, shine on stage with their performances. As Poppin'Party reconnects with the music scene and forms new friendships, the exhilarating rhythm of music plays once again!
In this installment
In the third season of BanG Dream!, the all-girl band Poppin'Party sees a concert poster for the famous Nippon Budoukan and decides they want to perform there, joining the "BanG Dream." event. To make this happen, Kasumi Toyama and her bandmates push themselves harder to prove their talent on this important stage. At the same time, the ambitious group RAISE A SUILEN, driven by a desire to impact the world with "the strongest music," struggles with the lack of a skilled guitarist. After many auditions, the band's leader, CHU², finds each candidate lacking in ability. But a guitarist who meets CHU²'s high standards might appear soon. This season features various all-female bands including Poppin'Party, Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, Hello Happy World!, and the recently debuted RAISE A SUILEN, as they work to captivate audiences across Japan with their powerful performances. As the BanG Dream competition gets closer, these musicians are ready to connect with listeners through their heartfelt music.
