Synopsis
Natsuza Yuzuki has been a rugby left-winger since his youth and quickly rose to prominence in the Kansai University League after joining Doushisha University. His promising athletic career comes to a sudden halt due to a serious motorcycle accident that causes a spinal hernia, leaving him unable to play anymore. Faced with this setback, he decides to become the team’s manager, focusing on supporting his team to achieve a league championship. The team Natsuza now manages consists of a diverse group of players, such as his composed best friend and full-back, Seiichirou Jingyouji, the fiery first-year, Yasunari Tsuru, who harbors resentment towards Natsuza for taking his former position as left-winger, and Yuu Mashiro, who is struggling to assert himself as the scrum half. Despite Natsuza’s efforts in guiding them, the team still lacks something essential. Driven by this gap, he sets his sights on recruiting Ibuki Ueka, a talented fly-half and former star who unexpectedly retired from rugby a year ago.
