Synopsis
Continues the story of Real Girl
In "Real Girl," Hikari Tsutsui finds comfort in the two-dimensional world, where interacting feels easier than in reality. Struggling with his awkwardness and poor social skills, Hikari retreats into video games and anime, often facing mockery and isolation from his classmates. His only true friend is Yuuto Itou, who, like Hikari, enjoys wearing cat ears and shares an intense passion for gaming. During a detention session for pool cleaning, Hikari meets Iroha Igarashi. Despite her notorious reputation, Hikari tries to avoid her, believing any involvement could complicate his life further. Known for her blunt honesty, unpopularity among female students, and history of toying with boys' emotions, Iroha seems an unlikely match for Hikari. The series explores their developing relationship, highlighting Hikari's journey in handling his new feelings and Iroha's efforts to push him beyond his usual comfort zone.
