Synopsis
On June 9, 2025, Kadokawa announced that Keiko Shibata's picture book Pan Dorobou (Bread Thief) is receiving an anime adaptation. The announcement did not disclose the anime's format. The picture books revolve around a piece of bread that itself steals bread from bakeries throughout the city.
