Synopsis

In the Kakushigoto Movie, a compilation of the TV series with additional scenes and perspectives, we revisit the story of Kakushi Gotou, a middle-aged mangaka who creates adult-themed works. Concerned that his daughter, Hime, might lose respect for him if she discovers his profession, Kakushi vows to keep his job a secret from her. His anxiety triggers comical and chaotic situations; as a single father, he goes to extreme lengths to hide his true identity, such as pretending to be a typical office worker each day and setting up emergency protocols to shield his studio from Hime. The film captures their life together, focusing on their efforts to maintain a normal household despite Kakushi's secrecy. Ultimately, the truth cannot stay hidden forever, and Hime is destined to uncover the mysteries surrounding her father's activities.
