Synopsis
Kimball Kinnison sets out from home to pursue further education, but his plans are derailed when a crippled Galactic Patrol vessel crash-lands on his family’s property. The dying pilot entrusts him with a mysterious Lens before succumbing to his injuries. This semi-sentient object, now fused to Kinnison's hand, triggers a cascade of turmoil: his father is murdered, a violent space battle erupts, and he meets Chris, a nurse officer in the Galactic Patrol. With the Lens as his guide, Kim is thrust into a dangerous new realm, risking everything to protect Chris and the entire universe.
