Synopsis

The kingdom of Sokan is in chaos. With the emperor dead, a fierce contest for the line of succession breaks out. To secure the crown prince's claim to the throne, he must choose a suitable wife, setting off a search for a new empress. Ginga, a straightforward and spirited girl from the countryside, enters the contest for the emperor's hand. Her sincere innocence startles and breathes new life into the palace residents. Yet, can the optimistic energy of a single girl help rescue a nation threatened by dangers both inside and beyond its borders?
