Synopsis

In the world of "Grimms Notes The Animation," every person's life is written into their Book of Fate, created by mysterious Story Tellers who map out every detail of their existence. Some Story Tellers, called Chaos Tellers, disrupt other stories by altering these Books, aiming to destroy the narratives entirely. Ex, Reina, Tao, and Shane are unique because their Books of Fate are blank, leading to their rejection by society. Determined to forge their own paths, they set out on a journey to find happiness beyond their assigned roles. Along the way, they meet iconic fairy tale characters like Cinderella, Momotarou, and Snow White, while fighting the Chaos Tellers to restore balance to the world of stories.

Background

Grimms Notes the Animation is an adaptation of Grimms Notes, a mobile role-playing game for Android and iOS. The global version of the game was shut down on January 10, 2019. The Japanese version also shut down on June 17, 2020, with the offline version having every story cutscene available to watch.
