Synopsis

An anime adaptation of Square Enix's smartphone "light novel-style RPG" app Schoolgirl Strikers. The story takes place at Goryōkan Academy, a new private combined senior and junior high school for girls featuring a sprawling downtown campus. This highly sought-after school conceals "another face"—a hidden aspect. It organizes and trains a special unit called the Fifth Force, tasked with protecting the world from invisible supernatural entities known as "Oburi" that are consuming the world. A team of five students possessing powers to combat the Oburi is to be selected from the student body to carry out missions. A new team leader has been appointed to gather these five students.
