Charanpo Land no Bouken

Synopsis

Deep in the Southern Seas, past waters no one had ever dared to cross, lies an island called Charanpo Land. At its very center stands a giant baobab tree that produces a fresh batch of eggs each day. Inside those eggs are food, clothing, and all sorts of daily necessities, allowing the island's residents to live carefree lives in total reliance on what the tree provides. Lately, however, more and more of the eggs have been coming out empty, leaving the inhabitants feeling uneasy. Then one day, a thunderous crash rings out and a burst of rainbow-colored light explodes as the baobab tree gives birth to an egg of strange and curious appearance. The next morning, village chief Poncho announces to the people that they must find that egg. And so, the tiger Kometora and a group of children set off into the forest in search of it.
