Synopsis
Shima Kawauchi was raised by his loving grandfather after his parents' bitter divorce left him feeling abandoned. Following his grandfather's death, Shima finds himself completely alone. One night, overwhelmed by grief, he weeps by the sea and accidentally falls into the water. Unable to swim, he nearly drowns but is rescued by a strikingly handsome merman. Noticing Shima's distress, the merman—whom Shima names Isaki—insists on taking him home until he fully recovers. As they begin living together, their relationship deepens, bridging the gaps between their different species and genders.
