Synopsis

As hyper-technology races forward at an ever-accelerating pace, humanoid machines known as "Labor" have become a standard tool across every branch of industry. But this same advancement has spawned a fresh social danger: crimes carried out with Labors. To put an end to these offenses, the Metropolitan Police Department establishes a specialized unit, the "Special Vehicle Section No.2," which deploys a squad of patrol Labors called Patlabor.
