Sword of the Stranger Pilot

Synopsis

During the Sengoku period, a rounin known as Nanashi, meaning nameless, rescues a young boy named Kotarou and his dog Tobimaru at an abandoned temple. Kotarou has no family and is being chased by a mysterious militia organization from China, so he hires Nanashi as a bodyguard. Among the pursuers is a man called Rarou, a highly skilled fighter with blond hair and blue eyes. Rarou follows an old man named Byakuran and belongs to the Chinese militia. Unlike his comrades in the militia, Rarou serves no Emperor and merely desires to battle against strong opponents.
