Attending a demanding institution like Yamabuki, a prestigious art school, is no easy feat, yet the girls living at the Hidamari Apartments always carve out moments for enjoyment and discovery. When a day off finally arrives, they truly let loose! Yuno, Sae, Hiro, Miyako, along with new students Nori and Nazuna, return to craft another masterpiece of life turned into art, featuring fresh adventures such as swimming, pajama parties, trips to the art museum, and even an all-you-can-eat diner courtesy of the landlady. In this installment
The fourth season of Hidamari Sketch picks up Yuno's story as she continues her studies at Yamabuki Arts High School—a place that has been a dream come true. She has absorbed a great deal of knowledge, not only from her teachers but also from the friends and neighbors at Hidamari Apartments, who have become like a second family, offering her warmth and support. However, as the graduation of her senpai Sae and Hiro draws nearer, Yuno faces the need to step into their role as a mentor for Nazuna, Nori, and the other young artists just starting to blossom in Hidamari's protective environment. Alongside this shift, she must take on more demanding artistic projects. This doesn't mean there's no time left for fun with Miyako and the rest of the group, but it's certainly the moment to sketch out her plans for the future. And sometimes, that means placing the artwork ahead of the curriculum.
