Synopsis
In "Himegoto," Hime Arikawa is relentlessly pursued by loan sharks because of the substantial debt his negligent parents accumulated under his name. While fleeing and wearing a maid outfit forced on him by the creditors, he comes across the student council of Shimoshina High School, who generously pay off his debt. In return, Hime is forced to transfer to their school and serve as their personal attendant, bound by his new obligation to them. Trapped into cross-dressing for the rest of his high school years, Hime must obey the whims of the student council members. Amidst mental and physical hardship, he also deals with the school's more eccentric classmates and forms alliances with other crossdressers at Shimoshina.
Background
Himegoto was released on Blu-ray on November 26, 2014 in Japan. Prior to and during the series' broadcast, the anime was promoted through an internet radio show hosted by I My Me Mine and produced by Japanese internet radio station Onsen. Titled Shimoshina Seitokai no Himegoto Radio, it was broadcasted from April 16, 2014 to September 24, 2014. The show was also released on six compilation CDs and DVDs from July 1, 2014 to October 18, 2014.
