Synopsis

Continues the story of K

In the world of "K," Kings are formidable figures possessing extraordinary powers and the authority to establish their own clans, tasked with safeguarding their members. When a video depicting the brutal slaying of a Red Clan member goes viral, Yashiro Isana, an ordinary student, is wrongly accused of the murder. As a manhunt for him commences, Yashiro crosses paths with Kurou Yatogami, the notorious "Black Dog." A master of martial arts and swordsmanship, Kurou is driven to fulfill the final wish of his deceased master, the Seventh King. Simultaneously, Mikoto Suou, the reigning Red King, faces his own mortality as the pursuit of Yashiro grows more intense. While Yashiro fights to clear his name, a shadowy conspiracy emerges; he suffers from memory lapses and finds himself mistrusted by those nearest to him. What starts as a simple murder inquiry spirals into a full-blown war among the Kings, endangering the future of the entire world.

In this installment

One year after the Silver King's disappearance, Kurou Yatogami and Neko continue their relentless search for Shiro without finding any leads. Their investigation brings them to confront Rikio Kamamoto and Anna Kushina, former allies from the disbanded Red Clan HOMRA, who are now pursued by the Green Clan. The Green Clan seeks to exploit Anna's unique abilities. To save Anna, the sole female and beloved mascot of the once-great Red Clan, Scepter 4 joins forces with Kurou and Neko. Their mission is to rescue her and use her powers in the effort to find Shiro. As tensions rise, the group becomes embroiled in a power struggle when the Green Clan threatens to conquer the territory of the Gold King. K: Missing Kings, the second entry in the K Project series, delves deeper into the story of a boy caught in a psychic battle involving seven kings, focusing on the personal trials each character faces after their leaders' absence.
