Synopsis
At 29, Hiroto Ikuta has no girlfriend, no steady job, and no clear direction in life—and that suits him just fine. He's convinced that taking things slow is sometimes the smartest way to move ahead, and he embraces his carefree existence without regret. Not everyone shares his laid-back perspective, though. In a world weighed down by worry, confusion, and sorrow, Hiroto and those around him are simply trying their best to make sense of life as it comes. When Hiroto strikes up an unexpected bond with the cranky elderly woman who lives nearby, he ends up inheriting not only her home but also a heavy load of complicated feelings. Soon after, his 18-year-old cousin Natsumi, a struggling art student with her own share of problems, moves in with him—and her presence might just challenge Hiroto's relaxed way of living.
