Three Leaves, Three Colors

Synopsis

Following her father's failed business venture, Youko Nishikawa transitions from a life of affluence to one of hardship, compelling her to shed her regal attitude and strive to blend in at her all-female high school. One day, while having lunch alone in a nearby forest, she encounters Futaba Odagiri, an energetic transfer student, and Teru Hayama, a seemingly naive yet candid and sometimes abrasive individual. Despite their differing personalities, the trio—each with the kanji for leaf in their names—develop an unlikely friendship as they experience the spontaneous and amusing challenges of high school life together. "Sansha Sanyou" is a cheerful and endearing tale centered around three unique friends as they navigate the everyday hurdles of adolescence and school life.
