Synopsis

Continues the story of Detective Opera Milky Holmes

In a world where certain individuals are granted special abilities called Toys, some are fated to become detectives who solve crimes, while others choose a life of theft as phantom thieves. The ongoing conflict between these two groups has led to the establishment of detective academies worldwide, created to train future investigators in stopping the thieves. Milky Holmes, made up of Sherlock Shellingford, Nero Yuzurizaki, Hercule Burton, and Cordelia Glauca, are the most famous students at the Holmes Detective Academy in Yokohama. However, after a fight with the infamous phantom thief Arsine, they lose their Toys, leaving them without powers and unable to carry out their duties. Stripped of their high-ranking positions and confined to a run-down attic, they have only three months to regain their abilities or face expulsion. The story of Detective Opera Milky Holmes follows their journey to reclaim their lost powers while still solving cases without the help of their former Toys.

In the Great Era of Detectives, where detectives and thieves possessing a special power called "Toys" battled for supremacy, that age has now been succeeded by the Great Era of Idols. Yet, a mysterious figure begins stealing the songs of idols in Yokohama. When the super idol Marine Amagi's popular song "Kiseki no Uta" (Miracle's Song) is stolen, she calls upon the detectives of Milky Holmes for help.
