The Stranger by the Shore

Synopsis

Shun Hashimoto, an openly gay aspiring novelist from Okinawa, was abandoned by his parents after they learned he is gay. Mio Chibana, a quiet high school student and orphan, often visits the seaside. They meet one day on the beach, and Shun feels an immediate attraction to Mio. Over time, their connection grows, but Mio suddenly decides to move to the mainland. Three years later, now twenty years old, Mio returns to Okinawa with the intention of confessing his love to Shun. However, Shun's life has changed significantly during those three years. Will he be able to accept Mio's feelings and move forward in their relationship?
