Synopsis
In the anime "Mieruko-chan," Miko Yotsuya fights back tears while staring at her phone, deliberately ignoring a terrifying monster standing before her that asks, "Can you see me?" Miko's ordinary high school life was turned upside down after an event granted her the ability to see invisible monsters that exist alongside humans. She makes a firm decision to completely ignore these frightening entities. Although she pretends they are not there, she watches in distress as they torment those around her, especially her cheerful best friend, Hana Yurikawa. To protect her friends from these monstrous threats, Miko tries to maintain her daily school activities and avoid dangerous encounters, all while battling overwhelming fear.
