Synopsis
In a world dominated by gleaming metal skyscrapers and supported entirely by robots, a young girl named Kumi plays in a garden situated beside one of these towers. This playground features a man-made water fountain, synthetic vegetation, and digital water and butterflies. Kumi encounters an elderly man who visits the park daily to paint the artificial flowers. He shares with her the story of discovering a tulip that seems to breathe, sprouting among the fake blooms. Together, the two resolve to watch over the tulip as it grows. This project by Tezuka Productions was announced as part of Anime Mirai 2015.
