Continues the story of Shy

In the mid-21st century, superhuman individuals with extraordinary abilities began appearing across the globe. These masked figures, performing incredible feats to maintain peace, came to be known as heroes—emblematic champions of their respective nations. In Japan, 14-year-old middle school student Teru Momijiyama conceals her identity as the country's hero, Shy, from the public. Shy is a timid and inexperienced young girl still learning what it means to be a hero. Despite her doubts and fears, she strives to help others and make morally sound decisions. As new and formidable threats emerge, Shy must collaborate with heroes from around the world and discover the true essence of heroism.

In this installment

In the wake of her clash with the covert organization Amarariruku, Teru Momijiyama resumes her everyday life in Tokyo, carrying on with her hidden duty as Japan's guardian, Shy. Through her interactions with those around her, Teru's self-assurance increases, and she gradually comes to understand the deeper nuances of what being a hero truly entails. One evening after school, Teru encounters Ai Tennouji in the city, and they quickly form a connection, with Teru starting to open up more about herself. Teru learns that Ai left her hometown in pursuit of something closely tied to her role as Shy. With Amarariruku still a looming danger, Teru must determine how far she is willing to place her trust in and cooperate with the enigmatic Ai.
