Time of Eve
Eve no Jikan
イヴの時間
Synopsis
In a future Japan where android servants are commonplace, society adheres strictly to the Three Laws of Robotics governing all android behavior. The Robot Ethics Committee has molded public opinion, causing androids to be viewed as mere appliances. However, a marginalized community called "android-holics" exists, who respect androids deeply and are consequently ostracized. Rikuo Sakisaka was brought up to consider androids as non-human and fully accepts this societal norm. His viewpoint changes when he finds a hidden message in the activity logs of his family's android, Sammy. This clue leads him to Eve no Jikan, a café that enforces a single rule: treat humans and androids equally. Driven by curiosity, Rikuo explores the café further and seeks to understand the reason behind Sammy's strange behavior.
