Summary
Gracia Ul Naga Saillune is the firstborn daughter of Crown Prince Philionel El Di Saillune and the elder sister of Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune. Despite being siblings, Naga and Amelia never meet while aware of each other’s true identities throughout the series. Several years before the story begins, Naga witnessed her mother’s murder at the hands of the renowned assassin Booley. In retaliation, she killed Booley using Chaos String, the signature spell of the crown princess. Following the funeral, Naga discovered the extravagant outfit she wears today in her mother’s closet and subsequently departed home to experience the world. As a princess, Naga understands when to display grace and when to assert confidence. While she hides her royal status, she often behaves with an arrogant and self-assured demeanor. Her primary interaction is with Lina, serving as both her rival and companion across the first four movies and both OVAs. Naga acts as a persistent annoyance to Lina because, although she is a formidable sorceress, she is clumsy and faints at the sight of blood. Their paths frequently cross on opposing sides, forcing them to battle, yet they always reunite to travel together. Despite their friction, the pair functions effectively as a team when they choose to cooperate.
