Summary
Aoi presents herself as a mysterious sixteen-year-old girl whom Otoo encounters while he is searching for his missing wife. She accompanies him back to Wagnaria, where she takes up residence in the attic and begins working as a waitress. Despite her high self-confidence, she proves to be an unhelpful troublemaker on the job, often drawing the ire of her colleagues, particularly Souta. Because she is still in training, she holds a low rank among the staff, a status that she frequently complains about. Although she struggles to handle Souta’s constant grievances, she does jot down some of his suggestions alongside his idle complaints. Aoi deeply desires the concept of a family and views Otoo as an ideal father figure, going so far as to apply for adoption by him. Her favorite food is natto.
