Ryuko
Summary
Ryuko serves as the King of the Rei, standing in opposition to the Shin, and represents Akira’s "Ō" form. Upon transformation, his black hair elongates, and he dons a long white coat featuring wrist straps and two waist belts. His weapon shifts into a white or silver scythe adorned with a long lavender-to-pink cloth. He was murdered by Homurabi prior to Akira’s birth. Although his memories remain sealed within Akira and he has not awakened in the present, he once emerged when Akira and Kengo first met Kou. Lacking full strength, Ryuko could not maintain his Rei form for long, yet he defeated Kengo with relative ease. Before reverting, he assured Kou that he never viewed him as a betrayer, advising him to repent by protecting Akira if guilt over abandonment persisted.
