Summary
Hayato Gokudera, born in Italy to a three-quarters Italian and one-quarter Japanese mother, is a Japanese national with silver hair and a B blood type. Standing 168.5 cm tall and weighing 54 kg, he attends Namimori Junior High as a first-year student who later advances to the second grade. By the end of the series, he has aged from 13–15 to 23–25. He is the half-brother of Bianchi and the son of his deceased mother and father. Gokudera possesses the Vongola Storm Ring and four additional rings from the Sistema C.A.I., alongside his Box Weapon, the Leopardo di Tempesta ver. Vongola, known as Uri. An intelligent student likely tutored since childhood due to his affluent upbringing, Gokudera excels academically, often surprising Tsuna with perfect test scores. Despite his reputation as a rebellious badboy who charms female classmates, he finds their persistent Valentine’s Day attention annoying. He idolizes Tsuna, viewing his ultimate goal as becoming the future leader’s right-hand man. A skilled pianist, Gokudera is also a chain smoker in the manga, though this trait is removed in the anime adaptation. He holds a strong dislike for those older than himself, particularly his sister Bianchi and Lambo. Furthermore, a traumatic past causes him to fall ill or unconscious whenever he sees Bianchi’s face, unless she wears glasses or goggles that obscure her features.
