Summary
Ian is a member of the Stationary Guard stationed in Trost District. He makes his debut in Chapter 5, following the breach of Trost District by the Colossal Titan. During this chaotic event, he is seen complimenting Mikasa on her successful defeat of a Titan that was threatening a group of civilians attempting to evacuate. In the anime adaptation, his first appearance occurs in Episode 5.
