Gouzu
Summary
Gouzu and his brother Meizu operated as the Demon Brothers, a duo hired by Gato to assassinate the Bridge Builder Tazuna. Their goal was to halt the construction of the bridge in the Land of Waves, thereby stripping the nation’s citizens of their hope. The pair confronted Tazuna while he was protected by Team 7. Following a brief skirmish, they were subdued, tied to a tree, and abandoned. The Demon Brothers are known for their exceptional coordination, utilizing large metal gauntlets connected by a retractable shuriken chain. This mechanism allows them to bind opponents before slicing them apart. If the chain is neutralized, a release mechanism frees them for individual combat, where they employ sharp, poisoned claws on their gauntlets to shred their enemies. As Kirigakure Chunin, they are highly regarded for their fighting resolve.
