Kimiyoshi, Natsumi
Summary
Having relocated from the rural village of Hinamizawa to a bustling metropolis, Natsumi is a high school student who has quickly integrated into her new environment thanks to her cheerful demeanor and ability to make friends easily. She is currently navigating a romantic development with Akira Toudou, who has confessed his feelings for her; while she reciprocates his affection, she has yet to give him a definitive answer. Her past in Hinamizawa is a source of deep anxiety, as she harbors a strong fear of being exposed as an outsider from the notoriously depraved village. This dread is compounded by her disdain for the superstitious culture she left behind and her resentment toward her grandmother, who still resides with her and embodies the traditional beliefs Natsumi has chosen to reject.
